Gotta Have Faith

Much is written and said about faith, but for the rancher, it's not a sought after virtue, it's a way life. When you think about it, everything they do requires faith. . . Plant the crops and have faith there will be rain, have faith the seed will germinate, have faith the hail will pass you by, and have faith your crops will ripen before an early snow. . . Have faith!

This painting shows the faith the mother cow has in her owner - her calf will be taken care of. It is evidenced in the calm accepting manner she follows to the barn. If you look closely you'll notice this rancher has had his share of adversity, yet he trudges on! He has faith.
