Children and Horses, a match made in Heaven. Every child needs an "Old Bay" to teach him valuable lessons. Such a horse keeps a child safe, teaches him to ride, and lets him know when he's gone too far. These horses are patient, watchful and forgiving.

As a 4-H leader I've been privileged to witness such combinations. This painting represents the fulfillment of a dream and the thankfulness to the one who made it all possible. The thanks comes as much from a watchful parent as the child who enjoyed the ride.
